On March 2, 2023, Walgreens announced that it would no longer sell the at-home abortion medication, Mifepristone, in its stores in the states whose Republican Attorney Generals have threatened legal action.
Despite abortion pills still being legal in these 21 states, Walgreens decided to cower in fear rather than honoring reproductive autonomy.
